Most of what I make begins with a single question.

What happens if I push this form, repeat it, shift it, or build it differently?

My name is Hylder Barbosa. Art Eh! Studio is my independent art practice, a space built around that question. After many years working as a designer, I needed a place where ideas could develop freely, without briefs, brand rules, or predetermined outcomes. This is that place.

My background in design shapes how I think about composition, structure, and production. But Art Eh! Studio exists precisely where design ends and open experimentation begins.

Nature is a constant source of observation. Time in the garden, working with plants, soil, and seasonal change feeds directly into the work. Not as literal reference, but as a logic. Growth that rarely follows a straight line. Patterns that repeat with variation. Systems that hold together through accumulation rather than perfection.

I am equally drawn to making itself. Wood, mechanical processes, and hands-on construction influence how I approach every piece, including the ones that exist only as image. For me, production is not separate from creativity. It is part of it.

That is also why I do not see technology as opposed to authenticity. Digital tools and precision production methods can help realize work with greater clarity and consistency. Not to replace intention, but to serve it.

The prints in this collection are offered as fine art limited editions. A carefully produced edition allows the work to exist beyond a single piece while preserving the integrity of the original composition. Once an edition is complete, it will not be reopened or extended.

Art Eh! Studio begins here, with these prints. The practice itself remains open by nature and will continue to grow through new materials, new processes, and other forms of making.

The current series of prints is available now in the Mandala Series, each in a limited edition of 30.
