Inner Sun
Inner Sun
Concentric pulses of light emerge from a focal point, forming a composition that feels simultaneously concentrated and open. The structure radiates outward in measured intervals, creating a visual rhythm that alternates between density and openness. As the eye moves across the surface, the composition appears to breathe, drawing inward before extending outward again.
The central field acts as a concentrator of energy. From this dense core, energy begins to pulse outward, visible in the radiating forms that surround it. As it moves toward the surface, it releases as luminosity, the warm yellow light that disperses through the outer layers.
Inner Sun does not depict a literal celestial body. Instead, it explores the idea of presence and focused energy, a steady radiance held at the center. The symmetry provides stability, while the gradual shifts in tone introduce movement and underlying pressure.
The result is a composition that feels anchored yet dynamic, disciplined yet alive.

Artist Statement
“In Inner Sun, I explore the idea of internal luminosity, a source of strength and awareness that exists independently of external circumstances. The circular structure becomes a field of controlled expansion, where energy gathers at the center and disperses outward in measured rhythm. The work reflects the tension between containment and release, suggesting a steady force that burns quietly from within.”
