Interwoven Nest
Interwoven Nest
Composed of branching forms that overlap, interlock, and press against one another, Interwoven Nest creates a protective perimeter that feels sharp and assertive at its edges. The outer field carries tension, extending outward as a guarded boundary shaped through repetition and accumulation.
Toward the centre, the structure opens into a quieter internal space. The density of the exterior gives way to containment, suggesting refuge held safely within layered complexity. The composition balances resistance with care, defence with intimacy.
Earth-toned elements evoke organic materials such as branch, fibre, and root, while the radial symmetry brings cohesion to the apparent disorder. Each form appears dependent on the next, reinforcing the idea that protection is not singular but collective and constructed.
Rather than presenting shelter as softness, Interwoven Nest frames it as strength, an architecture built through interdependence and resistance.
This print is sold unframed. Unmounted prints are delivered as a loose sheet. Mounted prints include an acid-free backing board and window mat, ready for framing.

Artist Statement
“In Interwoven Nest, I explore the duality between defence and comfort. The outer structure extends with a guarded intensity, forming a boundary shaped by layered repetition. At the same time, the circular centre suggests a protected interior space held within that tension. The work reflects the idea that shelter is intentional, constructed through accumulation, reinforced through connection, and sustained by a balance between strength and care.”
