Roots
Roots
Roots reflects the unseen strength of nature.
Beneath every visible structure lies a network of foundations that sustains it. This composition draws inspiration from the intricate systems of roots that expand, intertwine, and adapt as they search for stability and nourishment.
The layered transparency symbolizes these overlapping pathways. Forms intersect and weave through one another, suggesting growth that is neither linear nor predictable. Instead of following a rigid direction, the structure adapts. It bends. It redirects. It finds its way forward.
The transparency is intentional. It reflects how roots coexist within shared space, crossing and supporting one another while maintaining their individual paths. Strength here is not vertical or dominant. It is distributed and collective.
This work reflects on resilience, on growth through adaptation, and on the latent power that develops below the surface long before it becomes visible above ground.
This print is sold unframed. Unmounted prints are delivered as a loose sheet. Mounted prints include an acid-free backing board and window mat, ready for framing.

Artist Statement
“What sustains structure but remains unseen interests me. Roots do not grow in straight lines. They adjust to resistance, they overlap, they persist. The transparency in this work represents those interwoven systems of adaptation. Strength is not rigidity. It is the ability to navigate.”
